Ventmiser wins through to final tender process for the AIMC4 project

We are pleased to announce that Ventmiser CMSM has been selected for the final tender process on the AIMC4 Project. AIMC4 is a consortium of Developers, BRE, H+H Celcon and Oxford Brookes University who along with the Technology Strategy Board have invested 6.4 Million pounds into this pioneering project.

AIMC4 has been created to research and develop the blueprint for low carbon homes for the future.

The project will develop and apply products, processes and innovative materials to build homes to Level 4 of the Governments code for sustainable homes without the use of renewable technology, focusing more on the fabric performance of the building.

The three developers involved Crest Nicholson, Barratt Developments and Stewart Milne Group will build a minimum of 12 world class energy efficient homes, the performance of the homes and the occupants behavior will be monitored and analyzed by Oxford Brookes University.

The outcome will be a blueprint for energy efficient low carbon homes built on a formula developed alongside and in conjunction a team of suppliers and building services solutions.
